читать дальше интервью. на английском, к сожалениюRadio: Hurts, Adam and Theo, good morning guys, how are you?
Adam: Good morning, hello
Theo: Good morning
Radio: Welcome to Finland guys/ how are you?
Theo: Excellent. We've come 2 hours into the future here, so it's like 6 o'clock in the morning in England, so
Radio: Well you guys are from Manchester. Which one is it - Manchester United or Manchester city?
Adam: It's gonna be Manchester United
Radio: Alright, how about you?
Theo: I support Middlesbrough, who are a very good football team
Adam: Don't.Does it in count?
Radio: But u still support it?
Theo: I would support Manchester United if I'd a chance
Radio: But why can't you support Manchester United?
Theo: I can't, I'm not from there
radio: Oh right
Theo: So I would be a liar if I did
Radio: You'd be a liar, ok. What hurts most?
Theo: What hurts the most...drinking too much vodka and the morning after is always the most painful experience
radio: You arrived yesterday in Finland,
Theo: We did
Radio: Did you do this already?
Theo: we got here too late, we arrived too late
Adam: We wanted to
Radio: The bars were closed
Theo: maybe tonight we'll go and see Helsinki
Adam: We are doin'
Radio: So as you said this is your first time in Finland. What have you seen so far and have you liked it?
Theo: Not very much, unfortunately. We came very late last night and then we ..we drove in here and we saw a parliament building which is an amazing building and we're excited to see more and meet people because we've never been before, so yeah, it's exciting. And we did a lot of recording, we wrote and recorded a lot of recordongs in Gothenburg in Sweden, so Scandinavia is quite an important part of the album, so...it'd be nice to see the other parts of it
Radio: Cool. But the style electro-pop is really big at the moment, did you wait for the right time to come out or...?
Theo: Not really, for us it was just when there's two people, it has to be electronic, cause we can't play all the instruments
Radio: And you started off in 2009, only a year ago and you're this big right now, why? how did you meet? where did you get the idea to make a band?
Adam: We were in 2 bands before this one and one day we wrote a song which was 7 minute long, and we knew that it wasn't a part of our old band so we finished that and then the next morning started this one
Theo: Yeah we've known each other for 4 years, we've been writing music all that time and yeah I think it was...when we finally became comfortable a year ago it was a right thing to do, so we just pushed it really hard and now we're in Finland
radio: Really fast. well you covered Kylie Minogue Confide In me, it's a great songs, what made you want to do that?
Theo: Well she sings on one of the songs on our album, so it was a "thank you", and also that period is Kylie's best time I think
Radio: and Kylie is in your album as you said. How did you come to collaborate with her?
Theo: Funnily enough, it was a...I wish it was a longer story, but we just wrote her a letter and asked her
Radio: No
Theo: Well we were sat one day and thought wouldnt it be great to her somebody like Kylie to sing on a record, somebody who sounds like Kylie and then we kinda looked at each other and went "Why not we just ask Kylie? and see what she says"
radio: What was the plan B, was it Danny Minogue, her sister?
theo: Who knows, we just could find somebody of the street
Radio: Yeah. She has a back off. That's good. what was it like work with Kylie?
Theo: Surreal
adam: Yeah, strange moment
Theo: But she's so brilliand and so beautiful, so friendly, so talented, amazingly talented as well
Radio: Quite tiny as well
Theo: Yeah of course, but to see her sing as well, to hear her sing was just ...it hard to describe it, we were just...our eyes were just wide open
Adam: When I think about the album, I think about 2 ends of it, first end was when we were unemplyed in Manchester and we had no money, and the second end is working with Kylie Minouge, so 2 interesting book ends
Radio: Did you listen to Kylie growing up in the 80s?
Adam: You can't avoid it, it's kind of everywhere really, she's kind of a national treasure in England
Theo: She released I Should Be So Lucky a year after I was born, so my whole life she's been there, but the best period is Confide in me and the recent stuff, the new album is as good as well
radio: Yeah. so what other bands did you grow up listening to?
Adam: You don't wanna know what I grow up listening to
Radio: Yes we do
Adam: My parents played terrible music, I was really educated?????
Radio: tell us
Adam: Neil Diamond
Radio: Neil Diamond's good/No
Adam she's not loving it. Very ????? musicals, ABBA
Rado: Someone's going, hold on
Adam: We know who it is
Theo: We know who it is
Radio: But we are not telling
Theo: It was also...cause I love pop music, all different kinds. People like Michael jackson was really important, people like Prince, but I think the main thing of my whole life is been pop music
Radio: I think you sound a bit like Ultravox or Depeche Mode, did you listen to those bands?
Theo: Depeche Mode, definitely
Adam: There's couple of bands from the 80s that we kind of...when people compare us with, we're kind of pleased, like Depeche Mode, Tears For Fears, but apart from those two bands really...no one else
Theo: Mmm, Depeche Mode were massively important I think because of the darkness and the emotion and yeah, they're one of my favourite bands
radio: But then you collaborate with Kylie Minogue, what's next on you To Do list? whom do you wanna collaborate with?
Adam: I wanna work with Robin
Radio: Oh I love Robin
Theo: Yeah that would be good, and PMMP
Radio: Did you hear about their gig in our Jurassik Rock? when they had 3 girls were showing their titties? that was this weekend
Theo: Why weren't we there?
Radio: Mmm dude/ I think Robin would sound really good with you. But I saw Kanye West put up your Wonderful Life in his website, what's this all about?
Adam: Likes it, don't he?
Theo: We've got no idea. We only found out about it yesterday
Radio: And have you got many phone calls from the united States after that?
Theo: I have to turn my phone off now I don't know, I mean...that's an amazing thing. We only found out yesterday about that and you could never imagine, Kanye West, wow
Radio: I'm a bit worried about the Uk at the moment, so it's your national treasure has been revealed. And the country is it the great depression. Did yo hear that? The Stig, I'm talking about The Stig. Top Gear test-driver The Stig. How do you feel about The Stig's identity been revealed?
Theo: I still haven't seen his identity, I haven't seen it yet, so you've spoilt it for me
Radio: I didn't tell who he was
Theo: Ah right
Radio: Just that he is revealed, do you think that Father Christmas is been killed at the moment? How does is affect the male population of Great Britain(?)?
Theo: It's a big thing, see, his mystery was always a part of the excitement of it, wasn't it? Mystique, it was very exciting. But next we'll find out that Father Christmas doesn't exist. He does exist, doesn't he, Father Christmas?
Radio: Yes, he lives in Finland/ Yeah, everyone knows who it is, but we're not gonna tell you, guys. What it would be like to collaborate with The Stig?
Adam: It's the weirdest question anyone has ever asked
radio: How can you answer that one?
Theo: He drove us here, The Stig
radio: yeah, he's ???????
Theo: That would be interesting, wouldn't it? or we can just have his stood on stage, The Stig
Radio: with his arms crossed like this
Theo: That'd be awesome

Radio: That'd be cool. What I think is cool, your music really is, where did you get an inspiration from? they look like fashion shoots
Theo: Oh thanks very much, they sound what we really put a lot of care and time into making them kind of special, get to go around the world and hang out with women, also its a good motivation. Yeah the sound is that, we really care about it, it's nice to put a lot of, especially cause they come from us, the ideas always comes from as well as the music, so it shows people a side of your personality
Adam: We needed more than just to write songs I think though, we show people multiple sides of who you are, so then I think they can invest in you a little bit more
Theo: well tonight we'll go out and see Helsinki. But yeah, we've got the album has just come out in Germany today, it comes out in the UK in 2 weeks, and then yeah we got a tour, we got a European tour, British tour and just as many places as we can go and take the music around
Radio: Which fashion designer would Hurts be if Hurts would be a fashion designer?
Theo: I think if we would be a fashion designer it'd be Coco Chanel, because Coco Chanel said that she used to make simple clothes for interesting personalities. It's a great sentence, isn't it?
Radio: That's so deep, man
Theo: Yeah
radio: I thought you were gonna say Karl Lagerfeld
TheoL hah, Karl Lagerfeld, but we'd be too serious if said Karl lagerfeld
Radio: No, but he is a head designer of Chanel
Theo: yeah
Radio: Yeah, that's true/ there's a connection/see, the strict machine. Thanks a lot guys, Adam and Theo from hurts
Theo: Thanks very much
Radio: Cheers, mates
